This past March, teamwork and friendly competition brought students and staff at Christ the King Catholic Secondary School together for a dodgeball fundraiser. Led by the school鈥檚 Phys-Ed Leadership class, the tournament raised money in support of the 鈥檚 March with Heart campaign.

The event had students face off against teachers in a series of high-energy matches with the teacher team ultimately taking home the winning title. $180 was raised, which will directly support students within the 91pro视频 (HCDSB) who are facing financial barriers to learning.

About HCCF and March with Heart

that works closely with the HCDSB to assist students and families experiencing financial hardship. By removing barriers that prevent students鈥 full participation in school, they can experience a greater sense of well-being, support, and belonging amongst their peers.

In its first year running, March with Heart encourages schools across HCDSB to host fun and engaging fundraising activities to assist students and their families.

Making an Impact Beyond the Court

Beyond the fun and competition, the tournament showcased the power of community and student leadership at Christ the King. Through teamwork both on and off the court, the school turned an engaging event into tangible support for HCDSB students. Thank you to the Christ the King community for your generosity and teamwork!
