The 91pro视频 (HCDSB) has been approved to receive $81.4 million in funding from the Ministry of Education for the new Britannia Catholic Secondary School in Milton. The investment was provided through the Province’s Capital Priorities program, which supports the construction of new schools, permanent additions, renovations, and school purchases across Ontario.
An in-person announcement was held on June 24, which brought together representatives from the Province, the Town of Milton, and HCDSB, including MPP Zee Hamid, Mayor Gordon Krantz, members of Milton Town Council, HCDSB Chair Marvin Duarte, Trustee Patrick Murphy, CEO John Klein, and Chief Operations & Sustainability Officer Ryan Merrick.

The new secondary school will accommodate 1,499 secondary students and include 88 licensed child care spaces to help meet the needs of Milton’s rapidly growing community.
