The designates the first week in May as Mental Health Week. This year, it runs from May 4-10, 2026, and the 91proÊÓƵ (HCDSB) will join organizations across Canada in raising awareness about mental health.

The theme for this year’s Mental Health Week is “Come Together, Canada“.

This Mental Health Week, we are inviting our HCDSB community to Come Together. It’s a call to spark small, everyday actions of connection, and to recognize the role we all play in supporting mental health through connection: check in on a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while, encourage students to invite someone to play with them during recess, talk to your neighbours, and much more.

Together, we can strengthen mental health, build stronger communities, and help more people feel connected.
